Remember

Remember the days

when we were quite young

We played outside

and had great fun

Nowadays kids are stuck indoors

with Playstations,Laptops

and too many toys

We loved to make Go-Karts 

to race down the street

Loved reading our Comics

that came out each week

Hop Scotch and skipping

we'd play with our mates

If we were lucky 

we'd have Jacko Skates

Now you have TV's and Computers too

But we had our games

 so had plenty to do

Oranges and Lemons

Yo yos and Hoops

Crochet and Knitting

and making French Loops

I'll always remember

and never forget

Those were the good days for children
